Lunch with Little Miss Muffet

This week we practiced the play Lunch with Little Miss Muffet, adopted from the nursery rhyme "Little Miss Muffet". This play had many parts and some students were assigned multiple parts. Each student was assigned a role of either the Narrator, Little Miss Muffet, Ant, Curds and Whey, or the Spider. We had a great vocabulary discussion about a tuffet and curds and whey.  The final performance was on Friday. Each group did an excellent job reading with lots of expression and intonation to make their part more exciting. Ask your child about their role!

Elegant Luncheon

On Thursday we had an elegant luncheon during our regular lunch time. Students showed off their proper dining etiquette and were dressed for the occasion. Before eating lunch we enjoyed appetizers and music. We definitely channeled our inner Fancy Nancy and Dapper Dan!
